Effective and last updated: August 12, 2026
Scope and Controller
This Privacy Policy applies to the E-PICOS website, accounts, subscriptions, research modules, support channels, and related services operated by AB Health Tech Inc. ("AB Health Tech", "we", "us", or "our").
AB Health Tech Inc., 5161 San Felipe St Ste 320, Houston, Texas 77056, United States, is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. Questions and privacy requests may be sent to info@epicosai.com.
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide when creating or managing an account, including your name, email address, organization or academic details, country, profile information, support communications, and preferences.
We receive subscription and transaction status from Stripe. We do not receive or store complete payment-card numbers.
When you use the service, we may collect device, browser, IP address, session, page-view, feature-usage, error, and diagnostic information needed to operate, secure, and improve E-PICOS.
Research and Uploaded Data
Many calculator and analysis workflows run in the browser. Data handling varies by feature, so users must not upload information they are not authorized to process.
When a feature requires server-side or AI-assisted processing, the necessary prompt, document, dataset excerpt, or analysis context may be transmitted securely to our service infrastructure and the applicable AI processor. Reviewer documents may be processed with Google Gemini, and calculator-assistant requests may be processed with OpenAI.
We use submitted research content only to provide the requested feature, maintain security, troubleshoot failures, and meet legal obligations. E-PICOS is not intended to receive directly identifying patient information unless a separate written agreement expressly permits it.
How We Use Information
- Create and secure accounts, authenticate users, and provide purchased access.
- Process subscriptions, billing events, cancellations, and customer support requests.
- Deliver research, review, AI-assistance, export, and collaboration features requested by the user.
- Monitor reliability, investigate errors, prevent abuse, and protect the service.
- Measure product usage and improve E-PICOS when analytics consent has been provided.
- Comply with applicable law and enforce our agreements.
Service Providers and International Processing
We use service providers that process information on our behalf, including Supabase for authentication and application data, Stripe for billing, Netlify for hosting and delivery, Sentry for error monitoring, Google Analytics for consent-based analytics, OpenAI for supported assistant features, and Google Gemini for supported Reviewer features.
These providers may process information in countries other than your own. We use contractual and technical safeguards appropriate to the service and the information involved.
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a corporate transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.
Retention and Security
We retain account, subscription, support, security, and service records only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, contractual commitments, dispute resolution, and legal or accounting requirements. Retention periods differ by data category and provider.
We use access controls, encryption in transit, provider security controls, monitoring, and least-privilege practices. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your Choices and Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You may update available profile information in your account and manage analytics choices through the cookie controls.
Send requests to info@epicosai.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request, and some records may be retained where required by law.
Children and Policy Updates
E-PICOS is intended for professional and academic research users and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
We may update this policy when our services or legal obligations change. The fixed date shown on this page identifies the current published version.
